A little about Ed LaPour
Ed LaPour was born and raised in Bremerton, WA, home to the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. Ed has been a professional gun smith since 1981, when he began his full time gunsmith shop. He has been a member of the American Custom Gun makers Guild since 1993, a prestigious accolade in its self. His work has been featured in a number of publications over the years, including Rifle, Sporting Firearms Journal, Gun Magazine, Rifle Shooter Magazine and Sports Afield. One of Ed’s most notable rifles was completed in 2003 on the 100th anniversary of the 1903 Springfield for the ACGG, this rifle was featured on the cover of the 2003 Gun Digest. A recent project, the Sako L461 (Vixen) chambered as a .17 Remington, is featured in the 2013 Gun Digest as seen here.
